Object of survey - the building of the art museum, located at: Odessa, st. Sofiyivska (former Korolenko Street) №5-a
The inspected building (former "Potocki House") is part of the (ensemble) of buildings built in 1805 ... 1810, the architect is not reliably established; in 1823-1826 it was inspected by the architect FK Boffo; reconstructed in 1852. according to the project of architect Shashin OS On the basis of the Law of the Ukrainian SSR "On the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Monuments" (Vidomosti of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR, 1978, №30, p. 426; 1984 №7, p. 145 of 1991), determination of categories of monuments for inclusion of cultural heritage objects in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine ", approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Resolution of the Republic of Ukraine від970 of 24.08.1963), the building was taken under state protection of cultural heritage objects as a monument of architecture and urban planning of national importance (protection number 544).
