Department of "Production of construction products and structures"
The department has established a research laboratory for testing building materials and products. The laboratory equipment is certified and verified by the State Standard of Ukraine.
The founder of the laboratory is Mykhailo Vasilyevich Zavoloka, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The laboratory improves the quality of specialist training by involving students in scientific research work.
The main tasks of the laboratory are to carry out scientific research and metrological work on testing the quality characteristics of construction products and materials in accordance with the field of certification and the thematic plan of fundamental and applied scientific work of the Academy.
The laboratory conducts product testing, issues test reports, keeps a journal of metrological work. It carries out scientific research into testing the quality characteristics of building products and materials, which allows using the potential of the educational process, scientific activity and the implementation of results into practice.
At the moment, the scientific director of the laboratory is Doctor of Technical Sciences Dovgan Petro Mykhailovych.
